The Client is a 17-year old Africa American female present for a therapy session. Diagnose with depression. Alert to person place and time. mood depressed. Proper grooming and hygiene. Denies current suicidal or homicidal ideation, however, report suicidal behavior and a threat to self-injured. She has a history of cutting herself with a blade. She states she has no friends due to her frequent, intense outburst display of anger. She states she wants to be with her friends, but they will not let her because they are still angry at her. She participates well in Cognitive-behavioral therapy, which she learned about her mood, feelings, thoughts, and behavior, which will enable her to cope with her disorder and build a rapport with her friends.
