For each article, please do the following:

1. A brief summary of the reading. It is to be no longer than 3 sentences, answering the following questions:

What phenomenon were the researchers studying (e.g., hypotheses, method, results)?

How did they study it (i.e., what method did they utilize)?, and

What were the findings of the study?

While this is very short, it should still be able to summarize the study for someone who has not read the article; therefore, you need to focus on how you structure your sentences. For example, concerning methodology, while you may want to explain the basic experimental manipulation of a study, you do not have to detail the entire procedure used.

2. In the next 1.5 to 2 paragraphs, please address 1 – 2 important or novel insights that the source offers to help explain their research. Basically, what are the important findings or advice.

3. Evaluate the usefulness of each source for an undergraduate student. In one sentence state if and an undergraduate psychology student can understand the article or utilize the implications.

4. Do the above points: #1, 2 & 3 for each article.

5. Summary Paragraph. In one paragraph state any similarities or differences between these two articles.

6. VIP. Please keep in mind the page limit restrictions. In total the whole write-up should be roughly 2 pages.
