Evaluate how the lessons of the Great Depression helped shape the Fed’s response to the financial crisis of 2007-2009. Include at least three examples in your evaluation.

Describe those initiatives that may have unintended negative consequences in the long-run for the financial system.

Explain how regulators and politicians can mitigate those negative consequences.
