A word you should remember is “exhortation” and its other forms, such as exhortatory. It reads like a sermon, and indeed, another word you should remember is “kerygma”, which is the Greek for proclamation.
ALthough not limited to Hebrews, I am pointing our a literary device called “inclusio”, which is similar to “envelope structure”, meaning that there is some passage framed by similar opening and closing lines. In Hebrew, 1:5-13 is an example of this. See if you can note other instances of inclusio as you read.
