Describe something that might make you jealous in a romantic relationship. You can be brief!
I’m working on a sociology discussion question and need guidance to help me learn.
1. Describe something that might make you jealous in a romantic relationship. You can be brief!
2. Using O’Brien’s “Shared Meaning As The Basis of Humanness” (quote and properly reference, please), as well as lecture (if it helps), name and explain the three premises of Symbolic Interactionism.
3. Apply those three premises of Symbolic Interactionism to that thing that makes you jealous (hint: it has to do with what that thing MEANS to you, which is at least partly taught to you by your culture).
4. Now use those same three premises to explain how something that makes you jealous now…might come to NOT make you jealous (hint: maybe the culture’s perspective on jealousy could change, or maybe you could independently change the way you think).
You might also like to use Suttie’s article to explain why this could be very good for you.
