This week, you will present your PowerPoint presentation to the class outlining a chronic illness or genetic disease. Your presentation should explore the disease and explain how it affects families. Although you will not “present” the presentation in the traditional sense, you will upload your document to this forum for your peers to view, and then facilitate discussion surrounding your chosen illness or disease.
Examples of chronic illnesses and diseases you might explore include, but are not limited to:
Alzheimer’s disease

You will be graded on the following criteria:

Organization: Ideas are organized in a logical way. The information is easy to understand, focused, and does not get off topic. The introduction includes a clear statement of the main points. The body of the presentation contains supportive details. A strong conclusion is present.
Spelling and Grammar: Presentation has no misspellings or grammatical errors. References are written in APA format.
Short Summary: Provides a summary of the presentation- no longer than a paragraph.
Ask Questions: Asks 2-3 questions regarding the material presented.
Replies to Peers’ Postings: Respond and answer any questions posed and encourages discussion.
