The United States shares a 2,000 mile land border with Mexico to the south and an equally long border with Canada to the north.
In addition, there are about 500 coastal and inland ports serving the commercial and passenger maritime sector.

The role of security partnerships between the government and the private interests that operate the nations maritime assets and critical infrastructure.
