Final Assignment
These are my instructions for your final assignment for my course.
You have to present a company of your choice that works in one of studied markets (Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia and Uthuania). The company must be of foreign origin for the country that you choose. I advise you to choose the company of your preferred sector of economy, so this work will be also useful for your future career
Your work should be composed of two parts:
1. Description of the company’s story in this market (you tell the story of how this company built the business in this country).
II. You answer the questions that follow. Please develop your answers with a deep analysis of the situation from all points of view that you find necessary in your case (marketing strategy, profit etc…). You must answer all this questions. Do not mixt the two parts of your work and answer the questions by reminding them in the text, so I can understand which question you answer. Questions for the second part of your work:
1. Why did this company enter this market?
2. What were the main difficulties for the company and its goods/services to penetrate this market?
3 What specificities of this market the company had to consider for the scen goods/services to this market’s conditions?
4. Did the company commit some mistakes? If yes, what mistakes and how they have been corrected to why at your opinion the launch was successful since the beginning?
5 What advice (there is no plural for the word advice in English, so do not limit yourself to only one advice…) would you give to this company for its short, middle and long term development on this mark
