In “Competing on the Eight Dimensions of Quality,” in the Harvard Business Review from November–December 1987, David A. Garvin proposes the following eight critical dimensions of quality:

Performance
Features
Reliability
Conformity
Durability
Serviceability
Aesthetics
Perception
