Tables have been used in the past to control the layout of a Web page. Discuss why you think this was a good or bad idea for our current Web development practices. Give an example of when a table is the proper tool to use on a page. How can CSS help to make a table more readable? Are there times when you should never have a table as part of a site?

I think it’s still good to have an understanding of what Tables are able to provide but as far as it goes as a modern coding source, I wouldn’t recommend it. The best way to use a table on a page is to make a list to describe a category and list it below. For example, you have a fruit and vegetable list and describe each individual item in its own table. The CSS design can provide more options for the developer to use. Tables can be tricky especially when you’ve developed a web page and it comes down to re-editing, it may ruin the layout of the page.
