The American Heart Association Diet and Lifestyle Recommendations focus on a healthy diet, knowing how many calories the patient should be eating and drinking to reduce body weight, and aiming for at least 150 minutes of moderate physical activity or 75 minutes of vigorous physical exercise, or an equivalent combination of both (Arnett et al., 2019). ***
