The family that I chose was Abraham and Sarah in the Bible use this story to complete the assignment
The The Bible entails that Abraham was experiencing the joy and pain of living in faith. Sarah conceived Isaac to fulfill God’s promise (Sonek, 2019). However, the birth of Isaac served as a threat for Ishmael, Abraham’s and Hagar’s son, for a significant period, was perceived as an heir and a hope for his father’s dreams. However, he is set aside in favor of Isaac, the newcomer. The tension in Abraham’s family begins to progress and climaxes when Ishmael Isaac and Sarah pronounce an ultimatum. This ultimatum was dictating Abraham to kick off Hagar and her son Ishmael. This ultimatum tends to plunge Abraham from the joyful heights to the depths of severe grief for the love of his son. Abraham was facing the most difficult decision in life. For instance, he was concerned with the dilemma of whether to make his wife face life’s reality and learn to live with Hagar and Ishmael or consent to Sarah’s request that was founded on jealousy and send Ishmael and his mother away.
