This is Assignment 3: Writing a Group Resume
As the convention services manager at Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando, FL, it is your responsibility to write a detailed schedule (or a group resume). The group resume is a profile that includes a comprehensive overview of the entire program. It includes the purpose of the meeting, number of attendees, number of sleeping rooms, type of functions, catering needs and so on. It is a chronological narrative of the entire event from start to finish. Once the group resume is generated, it is distributed to all hotel departments. It is undoubtedly the single most important element of the convention services process, providing a tool from planning and communicating between hotel departments. The resume is prepared by the convention service manager along with the meeting planner.
