Reflect on the three competencies of this course. Consider how they might directly apply to your life and work environment when answering the questions below. 

Competency 1:

Develop an IS plan aligning to organizational strategy for various ranges of time.

Illustrate the integration between IT infrastructure, business process, and finance.

Reflect on the following questions in a minimum of 500 words.

Question #1:

Think of a situation in which assessing the alignment between IT infrastructure and an organization’s mission and vision would be valuable and significantly impact the IT department. How could you utilize the creation of an IT department budget that lists expected monthly costs within your own work environment? Provide an example, either within your work environment or in society at large, of when the creation of a long-range strategic plan focused on innovation could have an impact on the organization.
