This is a place for you to try your hand at applying a critical theory on the book; however, you may not apply the Reader Response theory, where you take a topic/idea/theme from the book and then talk about what happened to you over the weekend, without any textual references or analysis. The reflection notebook is book-centered with in depth literary analysis, textual support, and page citations. It is informal in that you are allowed to explore different ideas in your own voice. Entries should have a focus or topic statement. The entire book will be addressed.
