Intermittent fasting (look it up) is proposed as afeeding schedule that consists of fasting 16 to 18 hours every day. Individuals practicing this would eat all their daily food intake in a 6-8hours period.  This “diet” may not be as effective in weightloss (because does not limit the amount of caloric intake, just the schedule itis consumed in) but it has been associated with the extension of healthylife.  With what you have learned explain possible reasons why it maywork.
