Physiological: Gallon of milk is very cheap, there is a big portion for a bargain price. Generic can be even cheaper than cooperate farms, can use branding to promote healthy bone building.

Safety: The seal on the gallon allows longer guaranteed freshness. One can check expiration dates before purchasing. Some milk can be safer than others, because of what they feed the cows, and how they treat them.

Belongingness: Cows can be locally grown and raised on a farm nearby which Cretes trust in the product. Serving size can very depending if you are getting a half gallon or full gallon. Seen as a staple household family product to keep in the fridge.

Esteem: There are more high quality types of milk, such as one that come in glass bottles, one that come from local farms, and ones that claim themselves being a family farm. Cartons can have pictures of their cows happily eating grass, or come in a simple sleek bottle. Both display a high esteem of the product.

Self-actualization: There is a scale of the quality of milk one can buy, the cheap plastic gallon or the family farm glass half gallon for three times the price. By the milk will be different types of half and half, heavy whipping cream, coffee creamer etc. Some will be created by the same brand that makes the milk, this creates constant brand loyalty.
