Advertisements are used throughout the world to sell services and products. It has been argued that the choice of advertisements says something about the culture in which it's viewed.

Some advertisements are print-based (Links to an external site.) and some are digital (Links to an external site.). Some use words* and some are wordless**. Some seemingly have nothing*** to do with the products or services they are selling.

Some advertisements represent wants and others represent needs.

For this assignment, I want you to find two advertisements of some kind and post them to the discuss board. One advertisement should represent a want and one should represent a need (want = desired, but not needed for life, need = cannot do without it). Make sure to engage your critical thinking skills as you describe why each ad fits in the categories of want or need. Respond to at least two classmates' posts.
