PART ONE

Identify an advocacy challenge or opportunity – choose one of the following issues to address:

1. 1. Race Bias in the ECE classroom 

   2. Racial Hate Crimes – How do we address this with children

   3. Inequity (Race and SES) – How to address this in the ECE classroom (think books, space, what do you want the classroom to look like, music, etc.)

   4. Children at the US border separated from their families. How do we address the issue in the ECE classroom and with parents. Please think of all involved

   5. School to Prison Pipeline. How do we address this in the ECE classroom and in the community?

PART TWO

Develop a plan for advocacy (changing social condition).
