- Novels, biographies, history books, literature
- Facebook posts, tweets, emails, news tickers, Wikipedia entries
- Online magazine articles, print magazines, newspapers
- Comic books, graphic novels, children’s books

Hello, my name is Greg Villarreal short for Gregorio. I was born in Nebraska, and I was raised in Texas. I did live in Spanaway, Washington, but as of the August 1st, 2021, we are doing some traveling within the United States. As of right now, we are in Texas visiting family and friends. I am married with 2 kids that are grown and out of the house. I am retired military and as of July 20th of this year I am no longer working. I love taking short trips with my better half. My foreseeable future has changed a little for the next year because we are in the process of a major move. We are moving to the Philippines by way of Hawaii for about a year. I have taken a few college classes throughout my 20 years in the military. As for right now I chose a degree in liberal arts.
Reading is something that I would not do if given the choice. However, I do check my emails and do read articles from the Men’s Health, and Guns and Ammo magazines. I like reading Men’s Health I would like to live a long healthy life, and the Guns and Ammo is self-explanatory. Also, since I am back in school, I have been doing a lot of reading. When I do read, I like to be in a place with no distractions just a soft white noise in the background. I can read anywhere, but I do have to wear noise canceling headphones. I do occasionally listen to audio books, and I prefer history and mystery when I comes to listening. I remember that I used to read comic books as a kid. I mostly read Calvin and Hobbes comic books. To this day I still have a good collection of Calvin and Hobbes, but not the complete collection.

Good afternoon class,
My name is Alicia Thorne but everyone calls me Lisa. I am a 44 year old mother of 2 grown kids, one is 22 and the youngest is 19. I have lived in North Carolina for almost 9 years now. I was born in Queens, NY and raised there and MD. I think I have finally gotten use to everything closing early here. I decided to go back to school to get my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. I currently work for a tire manufacturing company and have been here for 6 years, going from production and now working in the office I make sure everyone in my department are following all standards (ex. safety, production, and quality).
One on my hobbies is traveling and I will do it alone or with a group of friends and/or family. I have been to Honduras, Belize, The Cayman Islands, Mexico and numerous places across the US. I also love to read. I have about 250 books on my phone, and also about 100 on two book cases in my home. I try to read everyday and what I tend to read the most is romance novels or inspirational books.
The only way I will change up how I read is if it is for school, or pleasure. When I am reading for school, I like to sit at my desk and will not lie around or lounge. I like to think this helps me to remember exactly what I am reading. Now when I read for pleasure, again I can read anywhere and still understand the book. My favorite place however would be to curl up on the couch with a glass of wine. If I do that I will normally go start to finish and then start another one. Some of the reasons why I read is to just clear my mind and for me it gives me a chance to to refresh from the day. I love being able to get away from any problems or concerns I may have, even if it is for just a little while getting into a great book will have everything fall away.

Helloob. I enjoy days at the beach and going on adventures to different places. I am currently remodeling my house on my own. Learning as I go. I am in the Psychology program. I plan to go into Criminal Psychology.
I have always enjoyed reading. It was something, as a child, that I really struggled with. Because I struggled so much with reading, my mother, like any good mother, made me practice. A LOT! I realized that I hated reading because I was not good at it. Why would anyone like to do something they did not do well? After awhile, I started to read very well. I found an author that I liked, and I read every single book she ever wrote. Now, I buy those same books for my girls. Recently, I have been wanting to dig deeper. Deeper into Psychology and every bit of information I can soak in about how the human brain functions. Basically anything about human behavior. I just started reading “The 5 Love languages- The Secret to Love that Lasts” By Gary Chapman. It is about the five different love languages that people give and receive. They are: Words of Affirmation, Quality Time, Receiving Gifts, Acts of Service, and Physical Touch. If you have not had a chance to check these out, I highly suggest that you do. It can really help you understand your partner, and even yourself. It is important to know what your love language is, so you can identify what you need in a relationship. I usually find different books from the thrift store or used book stores. I would like to use this class as an excuse to finally get a library card. Books are my main source of reading.
I would like to spend my time reading in my room, on my front porch, on the beach, and hopefully soon even the library. I usually carry a book with me in my purse. I read when I am parked, waiting for my girls to get out of school, or when I am waiting for an appointment. It is pretty much like carrying around a movie, that you can not wait to get back home to watch. I think my reading in random places is pretty consistent. I tend to read the same way, no matter what I read, which I know is not always to my advantage. I could definitely use practice with skim reading and speed reading. Everyone, My name is Sarah Fletcher. I am from East TN, but currently live in Jacksonville, FL. I am a single mother of two girls. That in itself is a full time j
