Childhood Nutrition Posting – REQUIRED

This is a fun topic, but can also be quite frustrating. On a word document, Tell me how you would encourage a picky eater to eat healthy? If you have children, what works for you? What doesn’t? If you don’t have children, think about nieces or nephews or think back to when you were younger. Some of you may be picky eaters now. How do you ensure good nutrition?
Please write a paragraph at a minimum to get the full 5 points. (A paragraph is more than 3 sentences! I’m looking for at least 6 sentences.) Please think about the topic, compose your thoughts, and then write it up for me. I can tell the difference between well-thought-out answers and those just slopped together at the last minute. Believe me, I’ve seen all kinds of work, so please take a little bit of time to get your answer together. I’m telling you this so you can do well.
If you’re having trouble of thinking of something, go back to our notes in our chapters to get some ideas. Keep in mind all that we’ve talked about this semester. Protein balance, variety, moderation, etc. I already shared with you in the notes about having to make a list for my son. That has been a big help. There are many other topics presented in Chps.16/17 that you may choose to write about instead of picky eaters and that is acceptable as well.

How would you help an elderly person maintain optimal bone health? Recall information you already know about osteoporosis, vitamin D, sun exposure, calcium intake, etc., either from what we’ve studied or from knowing someone that has had these concerns. Other factors that influence overall health may include loneliness, inability to cook, other health concerns, etc. There were other topics presented in our chapters that you may write about instead of bone health and that is acceptable also.
