Statistics Assignment

I am finishing my Master’s capstone and really need help with the statistical analysis. All I have left for my project is to run the test, analyze data, report findings, and the discussion. I collected pre and post test data using for the research question:  How does students’ attitudes impact how they perceive their abilities in math? 

 I adapted the 40 question Attitudes Towards Math Inventory that can be found here https://www.une.edu/sites/default/files/Attitudes-Toward-Mathematics-I in nventory.pdf . This is a quantitative study because all questions were answered using a 5 point- likert scale. I can provide some of my actual paper if more context is needed. 

After administering the pre- test to students through qualtrics, I randomly implemented 3 positive strategies into my classroom without my students knowing the purpose: Positive math affirmations, constructive feedback, and taught students about growth mindset. After two weeks, I administered the post- test (same questions). I want to use a paired samples t test because I believe that students attitudes towards math and how they perceive their math abilities will be significantly different in the post-test compared to pre-test. I am not suggesting causality for the positive strategies but I think they could have some impact on student attitudes. If there is a difference, I want to suggests to teachers to fully implement these positive strategies into their classrooms to help change student attitudes towards math and how they perceive their math abilities. 

I have not ran a statistical test in years. I am asking that you run a statistical test (paired or another test if recommended based on expertise), analyze data, report findings and then give a discussion based on findings. I will provide two separate data files (pre and post data). They will need to be cleaned because there is missing data for some students and more students took the pre-test so some students may need to be deleted. I use SPSS to analyze data and would suggests you use it. However, SPPS can be hard to access so if you know how to run test in excel that is fine because the data was exported from qualtrics using excel. 

The final deliverable I want to include descriptives  and tables also please.
