Attend a meeting and/or participate in their campaignwhere you can.

Prepare a brief document that highlights their goalsand current activities. Include the following: What are their reasons for thecurrent campaign or project in which they are engaged (if relevant)? What modelof advocacy are they using? What are their strengths and limitations? Who elseshould know about this organization? How can they be more effective about whothey are and what they do?

Examples: NAMI, Metro NY Health Care for All Campaign;Rekindling Reform; New Yorkers for Accessible Health Coverage (NYFAC),Disability Rights; You can work in small groups with the same organization.
