Application Essay for Dental Schools

1)    Describe an instance where you failed to achieve a goal(personal, professional, or academic) that you set for yourself. Explain howyou handled this situation. What did you take away from this situation? What failure might you anticipate as a dental student? (1 page)(When I was18 out of the US, I tried to go to dental school, but I could not because I wasresponsible for my younger brother. I could not leave him since he did not haveany guardian. I decided to put this goal for later in my life and put him as mypriority. But I never gave up on my dream, and after studying in radiology andhelping him to grow and continue his education. When I moved to the USA, Istarted to follow my dream, and right now, I am working toward it. Could youplease talk about this ?)

2)    Describe an instance where youreceived feedback from a mentor, supervisor, or instructor that was critical ofyour performance. Explain how you handled this feedback. What did you takeaway from this situation? (1page) (I received a lot of positive feedbackfrom my organic chemistry teacher at the University of Houston. He helped me torecognize my potential for helping other students who have problems in organicchemistry class. After that, he recommends me to the American Chemical Society atthe University of Houston to be a tutor in organic chemistry)

3)    Describe a time when you believe you were treated unfairly. How did you handle this situation? What did you take away from thissituation? (1page) ( please mention that I have never been treated unfairlyin my life but Could you please talk and put yourself in an imaginary situationthat someone may counter, and  you handleit and talk about it ?)

4)    Please identify one of your long-term service activities. How did this service activity directly impact another individual? Explain howthis service activity impacted you. (1 page) ( During the Covid- 19 pandemic, I started to put my life in danger.I work as a volunteer for Methodist Hospital in Houston to  help my community and decrease their workloadduring this challenging time.)
