Scenario:

Omar has recently beenhired as the HIM Director at a large medical center. All of the HIMdepartment’s employees work on-site. Unfortunately, a new virus has justreached pandemic level and Omar’s boss has asked him to write a step by stepproposal to allow most HIM employees to work from home. SuddenlyOmar realizes that he does not have a security program for work-at-homeemployees. He needs to create one quickly and write a proposal for his boss!

Designthe Step by Step Proposal:

        You can choose the format of your proposal, but you must addressall of the following:

1.    Identifyeach step that Omar should take to develop a security program for work-at-homeemployees

  Thisshould be detailed and include elements of consideration such as high speedinternet, and

 computer issues in the at-home environment.

2.    Explainwhy each step is recommended and justify the recommendation. 

  In otherwords what credible facts, regulations, laws, etc. support the implementationof each step?

  Includeappropriate resources for Omar’s boss to read further if she chooses to.

3.    Explainwhat remote employees will need to do related to each step and why.

4.    Cite ALLresources used to develop the proposal in APA format.
