Mother of 5 married at 15 married for almost 18 years. Caregiver for my father, bilingual English/Spanish translator, stay at home mom homeschooling 4 of my kids PreK for my 4 year old, 4th grade for my 9 year old, 7th grade for 12 year old and 11th for my 16 year old. My 4 year old has some delays and has occupational and speech therapy weekly. Married at 15 still got high school diploma at 18 in 2006, attended college online and received my associate degree in health administration services in 2014. To be able to have the same schedule as my children started working in the school district as a paraprofessional with severely disabled children and became certified but got pregnant during that school year and stopped working again. Husband started his business and I have helped him from start and running books love the accounting part and decided to go back to Colorado Technical University for my Bachelors in Accounting to hopefully become a CPA. my motivation are my kids- no matter what is going on if you work hard it can be achieved there are no excuses- i can do it as a stay at home mom with 5 kids, homeschooling, house work duties, errands, appointments, my fathers caregiver and still able to work towards my degree then anyone can. Getting a scholarship would be the greatest help as of right now with COVID business is not that great and I am past due on my school account and run the chance of having holds due to the balance on my account.
