CULTURAL RESUME CHECKOFF LIST!!!

(1) You must use a minimum of 5 sources, dated 2009 and higher, for the Cultural Resume.  Yes, you may use more than 5 sources.

(2) You CAN use sources earlier than 2009, (i.e., 1993, 1977, 1968, 1925, 1893, etc.), HOWEVER, any “earlier” sources will NOT be included in your top 5 sourcesrather, the Instructor will count earlier sources as: #6, #7, #8, etc.   

(3) It is important that your Cultural Resume’s content be comprised of “current/contemporary” information. (In other words, dated 2009 and higher.) HOWEVER, IF you must use “historical “references, you have TWO options: 

(Option A) Make sure  a “contemporary source” gives reference to that “earlier/historical” source.  For example, you may have a “contemporary” article dated 2018, that gives reference to a earlier study developed in 1977. (The 2018 article is within your 5 sources for this assignment; because you used a “contemporary” reference which discussed an “earlier/historical” study dated in 1977) , 

OR 

(Option B) You CAN use the original/”historical” source(s), (i.e., dated 1977, 1968, 1925), however, those sources will be NOT counted within your top 5 sources.  Rather, earlier works will be counted as sources #6, #7, #8. etc. 

(4) Be sure to include a MAP and FLAG of your country on the first pagenot exceeding of the 1st page. 

(5) Follow the MLA format to cite the sources, (authors and year of publication), within the paragraphs for each topic/sub topics in your Cultural Resume.

(6) Use the MLA headers in order to identify each page (your name and page #) of your Cultural Resume. 

(7) Provide your reader with new, unique, creative, and starling facts & information about the country for  your Cultural Resume. WOW your reader!

(8)  Do NOT use the term Bibliography at the end of your Cultural Resume.  Use the term, Works Cited.
