Suggest two (2) staffing strategies that organizations can utilize to maintain sustainability and minimize the impact of a significant percentage of the workforce approaching retirement age. Support your rationale with specific examples of such strategies.

Planning for Diversity

The first staffing strategy that organizations can utilize to maintain sustainability and minimize the impact of a significant percentage of the workforce approaching retirement age could offer other than a full retirement option. This strategy help with a certain percentage that they were making while working with the company. The second thing that the company could do is ask the employee if they would stay and work or work-from-home, which a lot of people are doing now due to the pandemic. This would help both the company and employees thinking of retiring.

Passive Diversity

Making sure that the company shows each employee that they a valuable and appreciated every day they are in the workplace. The company should also communicate clearly to each employee about non-discrimination and that it wont be tolerated at any cost toward any employee.
