Purpose
To examine death in our society, we must first recognize that we live in a death-denying society. So many outcomes of an elders health can impact their ability to lead a fulfilling life. The purpose of this discussion is to expand our knowledge about the rights people have as they prepare to die. I urge you to put yourself in the shoes of the individuals you consider as you respond to this discussion.

Criteria for Success
In your posts, make sure to:
- Comment on the value of the research or readings being cited by your fellow classmates.
- Your initial post should be at least three or more paragraphs in length, and can also include links to videos or other related materials; and your reply to classmates should also be three or more paragraphs in length. (Please note for this class, one paragraph has 5-10 sentences at a minimum).
- Ask for clarification by asking questions.
- Answer another student’s question.
