The Module Pre-Assessment is your opportunity to practice applying module content before submitting the final Competency Assessment. In the Final Assessment, you will be asked to create a job aid for new employees that describes the strategic planning process for an organization you select.
To prepare for your Final Assessment, select a healthcare organization with which you are familiar and research the organizations:
- Mission
- Vision
- Goals and objectives
- Operations
- Finances
- Clinical Aspects
- Technology, and
- Human Resources.
For this Module Pre-Assessment, create a draft of a job aid in which you describe the background of the organization you selected including the critical goals that form the basis of you analysis of the organization. These goals can be related to operations, technology, finances, or the organizations clinical aspects. Also, include references to five to seven scholarly articles you plan to use to support the content of your job aid as it relates to the strategic planning process.
