In this assessment task, you will watch a video discussion about the history and development of the school of social psychology. The topics discussed in this video connect to several of the topics covered in your readings in weeks 1, 2, and 3.

After listening to the video, and based on your background knowledge from reading your textbook and personal experiences, answer the questions below:

1. Distinguish the main concepts of Stanley Milgram’s research and Norman Triplett’s research. Explain how these concepts contributed to the development of social psychology.
2. Consider a time when you acted on your own attitude and/or belief and a time when you did not act on your own attitude and/or belief. What factor(s) do you think influenced your behavior?
3. Summarize how informational content and informational context impact the persuasive process. Describe how the persuasive process is mediated by the central routes and peripheral routes.

Your paper should:

1. Exhibit a well-rounded discussion for each question based on the content discussed in the video and prior reading in your textbook.
2. It should be written in your own words.
3. Your paper should be between 300-500 words.
4. Include a title page, introduction, body, and conclusion.
