4. Navigate to the threaded discussion and respond to the following:
   1. Choose a member of your family or a friend who was born before 1970.  Choose a decade which your interviewee remembers well (in the 1900s) and have them describe the economic conditions they recall during this decade. 
   2. Probe for facts like the inflation and unemployment rates and recollections of what has happening in both fiscal and monetary policy.  This assignment does not have to be about the conditions in the United States if you can find an interviewee who lived in a foreign country. 
   3. Describe what you learned in the interview and how these relate to the concepts in the textbook
5. Your initial post is due by the end of the fourth day of the workshop.
6. Read and respond to at least two of your classmates postings, as well as all follow-up instructor questions directed to you, by the end of the workshop.
7. Your postings should also:
   1. Be well developed by providing clear answers with evidence of critical thinking.
   2. Add greater depth to the discussion by introducing new ideas.
   3. Provide clarification to classmates questions and provide insight into the discussion.
