2) first topic sentence body paragraph
3) second topic sentence body paragraph

Paragraph #2 The first sentence of this paragraph will be topic sentence #1. In this paragraph you will use your two examples to support your thesis / topic. Dont just list your examples from the novel; you need to follow each example with an explanation detailing how it supports your thesis / topic.
Paragraph #3 The first sentence of this paragraph will be topic sentence #2. Follow the same guidelines for paragraph #2.
Conclusion This will most likely be your shortest paragraph. This paragraph will offer a summary of your overall argument, rephrased.
