Assignment

* Choose from the list of artworks provided (under the assignments tab) and construct a thorough examination of its meaning as it pertains both to the time and culture in which it was created. Cultural factors may include but are not limited to religion, politics, and class status. Include a detailed examination of techniques and materials used for creation. You must include the title of the artwork, its creator, and date in which it was created.

* Paper length is required 3-5 pages, double spaced with 12pt. Times New Roman font and 1″ margins. Points will be deducted for improper page length and improper formatting. Number your pages with last name on the bottom right of the page. Images do not count toward page count.

* If you are utilizing outside resources, you must cite those sources. If you are new to citations, please see Purdue Owl and learn Chicago Style.

* All assignments are due 24 hours prior to the following class meeting. No exceptions.

* Late assignments are NOT accepted.
