Complete a writing assignment, based on applying learned public administration principals and concepts, to a current event of your choice. 

The current event should:

* Interest you

* Be important to society or region

* Have enough information available that you can write a complete essay.

Essay to include:

1. Complete description of the issue and why the issue is important

2. Description of at least two principals or concepts this issue demonstrates:

(e.g. _ Cooperative Federalism, Reinventing government, Rational Decision Model, Public _ Private Partnerships, Strategic Planning, etc.)

May use more than two principals or concepts if you wish

3. Description of how the issue demonstrates your given principles or concepts.

4. Description of the results or conclusions of the issue _ or if not yet known what reasonably likely result or conclusions there may be. Either way, explain why.

Length should be between 1000-1500 words

Do not simply copy paragraphs from articles or other resources.

The writing assignment will be graded on quantity, however, primarily on quality:

Work product should exceed minimum requirements of the assignment in terms of content, analysis and writing quality for a top grade !
