How would you deliver the “Benchmark – Framework Findings and Recommendations” assignment findings to the ‘C-Suite’ for action in a manner that executives would both understand and dedicate resources to?

Hello class,
Successful HR and IT professionals, who are part of benchmark teams, know how to speak the “C-Suite lingo” and effectively communicate with these executives. They understand the importance of purposeful and clear communication. Modern business is fairly complex, and any significant misunderstandings can result in grave consequences. Therefore, benchmark teams must write and present their research in a report that will be useful to the organization (Agovino, 2019). This report begins with an introduction that explains why the benchmark should be conducted and how it will financially affect the company. For many CFOs, the most significant data point of any project is their expected return on investment (Agovino, 2019). After the introduction, is a detailed writeup discussing the company’s strengths and weaknesses. This section may contain illustrations, such as graphs and pictures, to emphasize major points. Finally, are the team’s recommendations on where the company can improve, and which key areas must be changed (Jugovac, Jannach, & Karimi, 2018). Remember, these suggestions are not intended to create controversy. Rather, they are a way to use C-Suite terminology to act more as a peer and advisor instead of a company critic.

There are quite a few factors when one reports to the “C-Suite” in the room. One big thing you will want to know is how they would like the report presented to them. One group could like a Power Point presentation when another would like a group sit-down. Along with the presentation, the presenter needs make sure that they don’t take too long. The main reason for this is for a couple reasons, mot C-Suite are terribly busy people and are on a very strict time schedule and making it longer than they expected can get them more irritated. The other reason, is most of the time, they want all the data that can be thrown at them in very little time and not tell them a story, they could have other meetings and, once again, are on a strict time schedule. If they like what they see, they will probably ask you to go into further detail, if so be ready for this, or they may set up another meeting to present your data in even more detail. Lastly, before you deliver your findings, practices how you will deliver to the C-suites, if you are not confident with what your are saying they will not be confident in what you have to say.
