After reviewing Dr. W. Edwards Deming’s 14 point philosophy I believe all 14 points are clear and concise and in exact order on how to obtain successful results. I think his philosophy is ingenious but also simple. Any company could pick up this philosophy and become great! These 14 points will save money and help morale of the company. I think this could be up for debate but I feel like Deming’s 14 point philosophy has to do with leadership making changes. It seems to start with them first and then you begin to start educating down the chain of command. For example, creating a statement is not something that an entry level employee can implement but more of a top level decision. Dr. W. Edwards Deming has a PhD in physics and also a trained statistician which makes me trust his 14 point philosophy, not to mention he has won the highest level of achievement in quality practices by the Japanese.

Deming made a list of what he considered the 14 points that an organization should follow if it managed to achieve improved processes and quality. In his view, any organization that wished to achieve these objectives should have in its management staff that they knew deeply these principles. He also cited what he called fatal diseases, which prevent an organization from applying these 14 points and can even lead to their destruction. It also defined the obstacles, cultural elements of organizations that hinder the implementation of changes, and must be overcome.
Administrators must assume their responsibilities and take the lead in undertaking change and continuously generating improvements.
A supervisor’s goal is to maximize the quality of people and machines. Reform supervisory techniques for both executives and the production team.
