The past Joint Commission survey reflects inconsistency issues with documentation, and a very high delinquency rate. After a lengthy interview with the CFO (whom the HIM Director reports to) and the CEO, you were offered the position as the new HIM Director. Due to the urgency of the matter, you were immediately assigned the task to put together a team to develop a corrective action plan to resolve the deficiencies identified during the recent JC survey.
Your task consists of identifying the members of the organization who, you believe, should be assigned to the committee. You will present your recommendations to your boss along with an agenda for the first meeting.
