Information Systems Virtual HIM Transition Tasks

Sophie is the HIM director at Medical Center of Alabama. The Medical Center of Alabama is part of a five-hospital chain and two health clinics known as Hometown Health. Sophie earned her RHIA five years ago and is excited about the decision to transition to a virtual department. The medical center has an EHR that will support this transition. Sophie and a few other employees will work with patients, physicians, committees, etc. onsite, while everyone else will work remotely. The space currently utilized by the HIM department will be used to expand the operating rooms. As excited as Sophie is, she does have some concerns which are:
